Big Day Out Timetable

Even though I didn't take any extra leave over Chrissy/NY, every week feels like a four day week - tomorrow should be Friday and I feel totally ripped off!

To get some semblance of a holiday I only have a two day week next week - I'm in Sydney Wednesday to Saturday for Bjork (SQUEE!), the zoo (WAHEY!), Big Day Out (WEEE!) and a recovery day (REST!). And of course I have done the good girl thing and flipped my timetable around and filled in my excel spreadsheet as follows:

DON'T FORGET! 500th POST INTERVIEW COMING UP SOON - THIS WEEKEND FER SURE! (THERE'LL ONE MORE POST BEFORE IT APPEARS). SEND ME AN EMAIL WITH YOUR QUESTION! I WILL NOT ANSWER IT DIRECTLY IF YOU ASK FOR MY REAL NAME ETC! I HAVE ELEVEN (;;;> <;;;) IN MY EMAIL BOX AND I HAVEN'T LOOKED AND THE SUSPENSE IS GETTING BEARABLE BUT I'M STILL SUPER CURIOUS!!!

** ALSO - I have gmail and it has a tendency to preview the first line or so of your email so put a blurb of rubbish in there too **

I'm going to the Big Day Out in Melbourne for the first time and super excited, but also a bit unsure of whether I will get to see everyone I want to. I need a spreadsheet!

I am so, so excited about seeing Bjork for the first time :)

Gah. Must get on to sending you a question.

Yay fior BDO, I like your selections.

Just a question (which isn't really the sort I want you to approach when drunk, so I won't save it for the drunken interview), what's your opinion, as a vegan, towards zoos?

You can't miss Arcade Fire - they'd be the highlight of the whole thing for me. I'd personally skip Augie March to make room for AF.

(I never planned to go to BDO - too old for that - but am disappointed I couldn't get tickets to AF's other shows).

Pomgirl - I find it really does help! Plus they're not always super awesome so you can just see the start of one and see the end of another and it's no big loss.

amanda - no pressure (YOU HAVE ONLY ONE POST LEFT) and thanks! I think that zoos are a good way to educate people, seeing actual animals and perhaps aiding the realisation that it is where their 'meat' comes from - I also think it's good when donation goes to preservation etc. I would like them to be happy and safe and comfortable - unlike cirucses.

Ian - I will make a point of going past them, just for you. The thing is, I LURVE "Cold Acre" and "One Crowded Hour"!

Timetable Change!

Billy Bragg and The Nightwatchman have switched. It won't effect things much though cause you wanted to see both anyway. I am glad though cause I'll see more of Arcade Fire :)

I like your picks. I WILL see you there...and there..and there!
