Preface: I was thinking about writing this post this morning while watching JTV (The Hun is camping this weekend) and all of a sudden I received notification of a comment relating to what I was about to write about!
Rather than being some kinda bizaare jedi mind reading trick, I'd made reference to it in a comment on an earlier post. It was a very confusing couple of minutes before I worked it out...
So.
Those of you who may not have heard of Augie March before the JJJ Hottest 100 should definately know who they are now. But I have a question I'm hoping to get some help in answering.

Anyways, can anybody give me any info on where it was filmed?! Because there are times I'm SURE it's filmed in Canberra, after the bushfires swept through the pine plantation near the parkway (this is what the commenter this morning said too)!
I can't find a way to contact them to find out... so any thoughts or info anyone could give me on this would be very much appreciated!!

This has been bugging me ever since you asked me about it around hottest 100 time. Mainly, it bugs me because I heard an interview with them on Triple J in December or so, and they were talking all about the film clip, and I'm sure they mentioned where it was filmed... but I can't remember! I'm going to spend all day making it my mission to find out for you though.
Oh man, now its on the radio. I tried to find it... but I can't. I'm a failure. Maybe you could send an email to Jay and the Dr and ask them- they were the ones that interviewed them... I even remember where I was when I heard the interview... On the bus, Kings Park Road, on my way to work. I know that the legs on the rock is one of the random production guys.
Frustrating!
Now I have found these posts because I have been frantically googling to try and find the same info... There are at least three others in Canberra who are convinced this must have been filmed in the remains of Uriarra Forest. :)
Actually, I just found the answer and we were wrong! According to the Sony BMG site it was filmed outside Ballarat.
