Another Public Holiday Weekend

Another night spent hugging the toilet.

Well almost - this time I was clever enough to carry the bucket with me so when it did decide to make a rapid exit (first vom since 2000!) I was able to save the bathroom mat.

I don't know what I've done to deserve this twice in 4 months but I hope to gawd it doesn't happen O/S - the sweats, the deafening ringing, that gawdawful feeling in mouth.... blagh.

On the 'plus' side, I think I've cured my salty chip addiction (packet, not hot).

Maybe your are allergic to public holidays?!

Imodium is your best friend when you are travelling, it seriously fixes any sort of gastro/seediness that may occur, it's the best thing ever invented! It's an over the counter thing from the chemist, don't go away without it :D

d'jen - I hope not, I'd much rather be allergic to work....! We've already bought up on the travel first aid pack that includes that sorta stuff, and I was thiiiiiiis close to sneaking one of the anti-nausea tabs, but I remembered the doc saying that if you can wait the nausea out then it's the best thing to do (as it needs to work itself out either way!). There's a whole bunch of stuff we need to buy before we go... agh!

Boo to feeling ill. Certainly not the most fun way to spend easter... I personally favour the eating lots of chocolate way to spend easter.

But I just read all about your trip, and YAY!

I guess the CDs probably haven't arrived?

amanda - I STILL haven't had any chocolate! V excited about the trip (and I emailed you re: CDS!) :o)

you cured your chip addiction?? HOW??? gwad damnit, tell me how!!! They are one of my biggest vices!

Hurrah for forethought and saving the bathmat! Nothing worse than having to drag a vomit covered bathmat outside to be hosed off... ew!

deb - I think seeing the same chips more than once in a day is enough to cure you - though it's more the oily greasy taste I had in my mouth from eating them while feeling unwell in the first place... I was worried I was going to have to buy my second mat in four months, so I was quite happy to have save it!

cazzie - I know! And now everytime I'm in the bathroom and look at the poster on the back of the door I fell nauseous (as that's waht I was doing at the time)...!
